If any of you prefer horror-themed anime, then I recommend watching Corpse Party Anime. It is relatively short - only 4 episodes. The story-line isn't the greatest or most original, but the blood and gore are enough to make most people pretty happy. Some people even think it's a little too eff-ed up to watch. You be the judge.
